Acharya Media Cup 2012: An Event for Corporate and Media Professionals

Corporate and Media professionals can swing their bats and bowl their opponents to a rout during a cricket series Acharya Media Cup 2012 to be held on 3, 4 & 10 March 2012. Organized by the Acharya Habba, an initiative by Acharya Institutes, the matches are to be held at Acharya Institutes Stadium.  Apart from attractive prizes for tournament winners and runners up, individual prizes have also been announced.

“This year Acharya Habba will see a cricket tournament held exclusively for the Media. The competition is open for the all the media houses and is open to for the first 16 teams who register on first come first basis,” reads their brochure. Preferences will be given for the first 16 teams, who register on first come first basis. The series of matches are meant for all those who have ambition, talent and determination.

The brochure states the match schedule: opening matches with be played on 3 and 4 March, with quarterfinals to be played from 11.00am on 4 March. Entry fee is pitched at a moderate Rs. 2000. Semifinals and finals will be held on 10 March, 2012. Rules pertaining to match, specifications on format and match balls have been clearly stated in the section Rules and Regulations of the brochure. Other aspects like registration, dress code, restriction etc have also been cited.

Acharya mediacup_registration_form are to be filled and sent across to Acharya Habba Organising Comittee, ACHARYA INSTITUTES, Acharya Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Road, Soldevanahalli, Hesarghatta Main Road, Bangalore 560 09. Entry forms must sent along with registration form. The fee for registration is to be paid in the form of cheque/ DD favouring “Acharya Institutes-Student Development Fund” payable @ Bangalore.
