Bollywood star John Abraham has declared that no animal was ever harmed during the filming of his forthcoming venture Housefull 2: The Dirty Dozen. The supporter of PETA: People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has made clarifications regarding the same and has vouched that all animals used for the shoot were fake. He said that a declaration regarding the same will be issued soon.
“There’s going to be a statement to that effect even in the film that the animals used are fake. That’s something we have completely taken care of. I am saying it being a PETA activist. No animal was hurt and all animals used were fake. That was one condition,” said John Abraham, during the promo launch of ‘Housefull 2’, even declaring that the trailer has been released for all to see.
Director Sajid Khan said that animals were inevitable for the plot of the movie, especially when kids loved watching them. “Kids love animals so I will never, ever make a ‘Housefull’ film without animals. Riteish Deshmukh and Akshay Kumar are going to extract an alligator’s tooth in the film, it is going to be hilarious and kids will love it,” said the writer-director of the movie.
