Friday, January 20th, 2012 | by

The Bharatiya Janata Party is all set to organize maha aarti in the assembly constituencies of Uttar Pradesh on 23 January, 2012. The observance commemorates the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The maha aarti promote the message Sanvidhan bachao, mazhabi arakshan hatao (save the Indian constitution, stop reservation on the basis of religion).

The events will be organized in the evening of 23 January, the day when BJP’s 3 day long padyatra culminates. The padyatra is being organized by state unit leaders of UP. Prominent BJP leaders will garland portraits of Bharat Mata, Subhash Chandra Bose and Dr. BR Ambedkar, on the culmination day of the padyatra in the respective constituencies.

Party workers are also planning to launch Sushasan Yatras for good governance, as part of their election campaign. A “Satta parivartan”, a 11 day long campaign in UP will also commence from 20 January with an aim of dislodging Mayawati government.
