Feast for Bibliophiles: ‘Book Bazar’ in Delhi University South Campus

Book lovers in Delhi can look forward to a 3 day book festival, to be conducted in the South Campus of Delhi University. Organized by the National Book Trust, this is the second such venture, the first being held in the North campus early this year in March. The book fair will be inaugurated by Dinesh Singh, Vice Chancellor of Delhi University on Friday at Sri Venkateswara collegefair concludes on Sunday.

Book lovers can not only buy books and immerse themselves in reading culture, but can also grab the opportunity for of hearing recitals and enjoying sessions of classical performances. The show will also have a book quiz, sessions of storytelling, reading of Hindi satires etc, Kathak performance by Mulla Afsar, Sarangi concert by Mohammed Ayub.
“The bazaar is a rare opportunity for students, teachers, librarians, literary patrons as a wide variety of books including thematic ones on art, culture, medicine, general books will be displayed and sold,” said officials of the NBT.
