BJP leaders meet on Telangana issue in Parliament before the session

BJP LogoBharatiya Janata Party’s top leaders on Tuesday met in Parliament to discuss Telangana issue.

The meeting took place at Lal Krishna Advani’s room in the Parliament which was attended by Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj, Leader of the Opposition in Upper House, Arun Jaitley and party president Rajnath Singh.

A source in party said that it is in favour to pass the bill with some riders. He further added that party does not want to ignore the people of Seemandhra as the 2014 Lok Sabha polls are imminent.

Earlier, Party’s Prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi already slammed the Centre for dividing Andhra Pradesh during a rally in Himachal Pradesh on last Sunday.
