IBN Live has again resorted to their favourite pastime of Modi-baiting. In a news clip, they mentioned in length how Chief Minister of Gujarat Narendra Modi, who is in Delhi met former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, but refused to meet BJP patriarch LK  Advani. However, it came out from Modi himself that he met both Advani and Vajpayee.

Earlier during the day, at 1.13 pm, Narendra Modi in a tweet said,”In Delhi today for a meeting with Planning Commission. Also looking forward to meeting Atal ji later in the evening”. This was followed by another tweet, made at 7.59 pm, evidently after meeting the two BJP stalwarts,”Met Atal ji and Advani ji today in Delhi”.

However, IBN blundered by pouncing at the Chief Minister at 6.26 pm:

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi met former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in New Delhi on Friday amidst reports of growing rift within the top Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership. The meeting assumes significance given the unease in the party and a growing distance between Modi and senior leaders LK Advani and Sushma Swaraj.

Yet another clear instance of Modi baiting!!
